Segment 2 extends from Claflin Landing to Holway Street and includes the
area that has experienced the most erosion and damage to upland structures.
Figure 23 shows the mainland shoreline change from preinlet 1982, where the
shoreline was from 100 to 300 ft (30.5 to 91.4 m) further seaward. As the inlet
