10 Future Enhancements
Future enhancements are ideas presented by users and clients. If sufficient
comments are received requesting changes and additions, then modifications and
enhancements will be made. HyPAS was initially developed and supported through
the years from client requests and funding. The CIRP has funded several of the
tools at the request of users.
The following functionality is under consideration for implementation:
Perform arithmetic calculations on resultant data
a.
Convert acoustic backscatter data from an ADCP to sediment
b.
concentration data for further analysis
Importing and exporting capabilities

Statistical analysis tools
d.
Math functions to allow comparison of multiple data types such as
e.
bathymetry, shoreline position, material properties, and any type of
scalar quantity
Import physical model data and implement into current plan view
